If your scholar is enrolled in the program, you will receive a welcome email and additional information. Program placement will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Placement in a program is based on enrollment, the availability of required staff and appropriate funding. To apply for a specific program, please go to the appropriate section for your school. Section 1 must be completed for all scholars (regardless of school and grade level). Please answer all of the applicable questions so we can work to provide a successful program for our scholars. Middle-schools will offer programming on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 1 hour each week. The program focuses on the academic improvement, social and emotional learning, enrichment opportunities, and the health and well-being of our secondary scholars.Įmpire is available to scholars in grades 6 - 12 attending the following schools: Meadow Hill Global Explorations Magnet School, Temple Hill Academy, Heritage Middle School, South Middle School, Newburgh Free Academy Main, Newburgh Free Academy North, and Newburgh Free Academy West.Īll high-schools will offer programs in-person on Tuesday and Thursday for 1.5 hours each day.
